He's kinda wierd, from an odd family. I'm not sure I'd really like him if I met him. However, he has a good writing style, and has certainly taught himself to cope healthily with his Asperger's--without the support of his much loonier parents.

As someone who secretely loves murder mysteries and not-so-secretely loves the middle ages and particularely medieval philosophy, I fell completely in love with this book. It was well-written, the story was good and exciting, and there were so many great little facts about the middle ages (some I already knew, some I didn't) that got me really excited. The quotes in Latin might be too much for some people, as well as the rants William goes on. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not interested in the middle ages, but for those of you that are this is a MUST READ. It is now one of my favourite books. Oh, and don't watch the film.

First in the Wyoming Game Warden Joe Pickett series by C. J. Box. Small town, rural setting with Pickett becoming involved in a murder mystery while dealing with day-to-day game warden activities. Story involves the murder of a group of outfitters who take people hunting and spirals outward from there involving a number of issues. Starts a bit slow but becomes more involved and interesting as it progresses.

Good book. I have a high school knowledge of the Civil War and found the descriptions of several battles very interesting. As a northerner, I'm gaining an appreciation for a different perspective on what it meant to fight on the side of the South. This book seems to be known for describing the world of civil war re-enactors. I find that this goes on a bit too much.

This was even better than Hex Hall. Sophie is even more snarky and sarcastic in this book, and I want to be like her. I found myself laughing out loud in places, which I don't do in many books. Definitely a must-read, my friends! Oh, and Archer, Archer, Archer... Wowsa... I think I might be in love. Cal ain't half bad either!

Competent writing. Not much plot, but interesting world-building. The characters were also interesting, but I would've liked to see them better fleshed out. Henry's motivations are not believable, and Volentine remains fairly one-dimensional. This would've been three stars, but I'm deducting a star for the abrupt and ridiculous ending.

Mas Seekter,uma pós-universitária branca, não vai ficar de braços cruzados e em segredo, vai tentar dar voz às empregadas negras de Jackson no Mississipi.
