I really liked this book. I have always had a strong dislike for what people call "networking," and this book helped me understand that to some extent it's a necessary evil but also that it's OK to approach networking according to your own strengths rather than what some extroverted people think is the right way to do it. For example, I will never be the kind of person who loves to be the center of attention or introduce myself to strangers constantly. But I do have certain strengths that I can use in working with other people that many others may not have. This book also helped me put things in perspective about what an introvert really is and is not. I would have given it 5 stars if there were more meat in the book, but for what it is, I enjoyed it.

I love the Harry Potter series, so what can I say? I am behind & have one more to go to complete them. I wanted to finish this one before the movie comes out in July. Fun book!

I devoured this book! "These people" (rich people with nannies) are unbelieveable. What fun to peek into their rich, unfulfilled lives.

This might actually be the funniest book I ever read in my life.

Shel Silverstein's books can be read by anyone, at any age, and inspire even the book-hating kid to pick it up and flip through.

Orwell just keeps seeming more and more prescient, doesn't he? If you like sci-fi, be sure to read this, the seminal work of dystopian fiction.
I appreciated the way Great Expectations's pedagological content is incorporated into the narrative via the protagonists introspection, which felt relatively unobtrusive. However, while I appreciated the novels devaluation of class, the novel also seems to contain a warning against ascendent aspirations which struck me as a little too myopic. The novel's central romance is melancholic, but ultimately results in a healthy acceptance and hope that I found remarkably endearing given how toxic the affection felt throughout the novel. In summary, I found this to be a remarkably accessible classic, and I am glad I took the time to read it.
Sue has a family from hell and a lottery jackpot but is so sick of her life that she decides to hire a hit man to kill her. Tony is a werewolf who kills for money but this case intrigues him and he starts getting too close to Sue, a mistake that his enemies will use against him. There isn't really anything wrong with what I read of the book except it is a bit too slow for me. For 50 pages it was just Sue telling the story of her terrible family and all the wrongs they did to her and that was just boring to me. I scanned ahead and the next bit is the inevitable sexathon and more about her problems up to at least page 89 and that was way too much boring stuff to bother with. Goodbye book...next!
