I love the movie so I knew I would love the book. More detail in the book and different angles. I have an eye-opening view of American soldiers in this unit. Re-think what the war era movies depicted. These men were brutally truthful in what they did. Unpleasant at times, but still very interesting. I don't recommend certain parts for night time reading. Oh Noooo! *bangs head on laptop* why is Heath back!?!?!? EDIT: I made it through 8 books..EIGHT.BOOKS....so can someone please just pat me on the back??? It kind of breaks my heart to leave a book series unfinished, but I just couldn't get through this novel. I don't know what it was that just made me fling the book into a corner and say I can't do it anymore. I have no idea why I got so annoyed with this book. Maybe it's because for the past couple of books, the story has just been meandering, maybe it's because there are too many one-dimensional characters to keep track of, maybe I just lost interest in the plot. Whatever it is, one thing I know for sure: I will not be buying any subsequent books in this series. It had promise initially, but now, I really think it's quite hopeless.

at first I really thought Sirius Black was the one who betrayed Harry's father...but then at the end...I'm surprised to know that it's Wormtail and Sirius was really good and he is Harry's Godfather...:)

there were parts that were really good...but it felt excessively long and some of the drama I thought was pointless. However, I still very much love the series and can't wait for book six :)

If you're on the bench about reading this book, and like fun, light-ish stories, then this book is definitely for you! It's about a girl who's looking for her identity separate from her famous parents. She's got a loving father, who despite being the most famous James Bond ever, is a softie at heart, who gets emotional very quickly; think crying during Cheaper by the Dozen. And then there is her mother, the most famous Bond Girl Ever, Heavenly Melons. So when she escapes to London, she thinks she's left all behind. Or has she? I loved this book! It was funny, sweet, dramatic, suspenseful, and very entertaining. It's almost 475 pages and I finished it in about four hours, more or less, only putting it down when I had to. I had read the premise for this book a long time ago, and was eagerly awaiting publication of this book. I was worried that the book might not live up to what I was hoping it would be, but it met my hopes and passed them. I put off reading the book for a couple of months after I had gotten it and finally picked it up today, and I am ever so glad that I did, and you will be too!
