Poor Merry is just getting pulled into 50 different directions.There are too many people to please and no time to do it! There is a lot of sex, but it's not too raunchy. It doesn't really bother me. Then again I have read a few books with some graphic sex...so maybe my threshold is different.....

I won this book on Goodreads from Crown Publishing. Thank you so much for sending me this wonderful memoir. Randy Christensen is truly an American Hero and he certainly tells a very important story about homeless children and how they live. You are going to really feel for each and every one of these teenagers. You will shed a tear or two with these stories. But for me, the most touching parts of this book were the ones where Dr. Christensen lets you into his life and tells you about the things he has experienced in his life with his wife, Amy. Dr. Christensen, I salute you and I wish wonderful things for you and your family in the future. Thank you for writing such an important book on such a little know topic.

When stopping a serial killer and a string of murders is on the line. Can Monk pull his squad together and stop this madness. This book hooks you and keeps you guessing until the culprit is revealed. I like this book because it gives you a thought and slowly reveals it giving you possible theories. It gives you a great hook with Monk getting his job back and keeps you wondering if he can handle it.

This was a great novel...couldn't put it down. I loved the characters and how the author interwove all the situations. A great weekend read. The topic of interacial birth has always been something that intrigued me because before I had my five children, I didn't know my ancestral background. There was always a fear deep down that something would go wrong or that my baby could be of a different nationality. Not that this mattered as much but that my husband at the time continually accused me of having affairs. The story-line here was easy to relate to for me and I was totally absorbed with what happened! Anyone who has wondered how they might react if what they were told about their family suddenly became known as an illusion or direct lie from their relatives, you would enjoy this story. It was kind of like a mystery. In the end, I felt transformed by love and appreciated the adventure this author took me through. You won't want to miss this one...it's a great read! You might even learn something about yourself that you didn't know was part of your thinking. We could all learn to love more unconditionally...(-: I highly recommend this novel!!!!!
