This is the best, most honest biography I have ever read. It's long, due to the fact that Edith admits herself to disliking leaving out the small interesting details that make life what it is. I didn't mind. As I read this book, I felt that I had met a friend and mentor and real human being. I want to be like her, to have half her faith, intelligence, tenacity, and love. Maybe someday.

The Duke's Perfect Wife is the 4th installment to the Highland Pleasures series by Jennifer Ashley. I have had this book on my shelf for 6 months and just haven't gotten to it. I can not believe I've been missing out on this story for that long. Hart Mackenzie has taken care of his family for as long as he can remember. He's done all that he could to take the heat off his younger brothers from their abusive dad and to protect them from themselves as they got older. In his quest to out succeed his dead father Hart will stop at nothing to become the Duke. Due to his arrogance he lost the love of his life very young and he has a chance to make things right the only way he knows how. Lady Eleanor Ramsay threw Hart's engagement ring back in his face many years ago and has worked hard to forgive him and move on. Down on their luck Eleanor and her father are in need of money to survive. Not to mention nude photos of the soon to be Duke have been showing up addressed to Eleanor. Seeing an opportunity Eleanor goes to Hart requesting employ from Hart, so that she may find the owner of the photos and save Hart's reputation. This is one of my all time favorite books it inspires me in my own writting so i always refer to it for inspirations, but i really don't know how many times i've read it. This is the best romance/sci-fi/vampire/teen fiction book ever written (or that i've ever read). when i read this book no matter what number of times i've read it, i still can't put it down. u just have to read it several times in a row. and edward is the best guy character EVER. and i wish i could marry him.

agak kecewa dengan kebesaran Maryamah Karpov. yah, saya mengharapkan yang agak berlebihan setelah membasa tiga novel pendahulunya. di MK, ceritanya hanya tentang 'perjuangan mencari cinta yang lama'. terlalu sederhana untuk sebuah ending tetralogi yang novel-novel pendahulunya begitu best seller. padahal Ikla bisa saja melakukan hal-hal besar lainnya seperti di Edensor. namun demikian, racikan kata Andrea selalu menyihir saya. dan alhasil, novel ini saya tamatkan dalam dua hari saja. meskipun di akhir timbul pertanyaan, 'cuma kayak gini?' namun saya tetap mengapresiasi novel keren ini.
