Mia had just recently found out that she's a princess. It was hard enough for her to accpet that fact already. Now, she need to convince her parents to let her go on a trip, with some friends and most importantly, her boyfriend, Michael. She wanted some alone times with Michael, because there's always interruption when they want to do something like kissing. It's getting on her nerve. This is the first princess diary book I've read and I thought it wasn't that bad. Probably because I haven't read any of the other series, I'm kind of confuse at how she became a princess and how there's a princess in the modern time.

*I'm dreaming of a dark warrior just like the one I used to know ;) With a scarred chest 8 pack, and long blond hair that curls my claws and makes me groan ;) Good gravy with pepperoni on top was this book AWESOME!!! Fabtabulous, Awesometastic, fabuloso, KILLER!! Love! LOVE! LOVE!! I seriously didn't think anything could top a wolf.... and sure... nothing can... but a berserker is soooooo close!! I bet most of you have read reviews on this book so my review is just going to be squees. *Regin was awesometastic in her butt-kicking skills and being all COME HITHER in the beginning. *Nix was crazy as hell but that's why we love her. *New addiction Bertil was fabulous and now I want a bat as a pet! Loved him! *New boy Thad had that new car smell and reminded me of Jimmy Olsen from Superman (but still GREAT!) *Aidan the big viking warrior can raid my village any day of the week. *Declan in the beginning was hard to get along with but at the end it just felt oh so right! squee squee! *I freaking ADORED the prologue. Though rather lengthy it was PERFECT. *THe epilogue took my breath away and was too too short. I seriously can not wait for more books and I sooooooooooo want Uilleam to get his own book. (make it happen Kresley!!! *shakes fist and prances on tip toes like a spastic fangirl) Again... love love LOVED this book!! favorite line: Could any male make her feel as he had the night he'd lightly rasped his blond stubble over her stomach and murmured, "I want babes with you- berserker sons and Valkyrie daughters." He raised his head at her with clear gray eyes. "Give them to me one day" -Aiden the Fierce to Regin (taken from prologue) All I can say is "I'm melting! melting! MELTING!" (in squees)

I love this series and am planing to read the next book soon. i like all the magic and mythical creatures and their personalities. The main issiue is Holly is being accused of murdering her commander and Opal is trying to destroy all the people who put her in prision. The setting is the lower elements (fairy world) and Europe. The setting helps because it brings the reader into the fairy world. The characters are Artemis who is a boy genius and has black hair and brown eyes, then theirs Butler Artemis' butler and bodyguard he is bald with brown eyes adn is a massive man, also Holly a fairy police-woman with red hair and hazel eyes, last but not least Mulch Diggims who is a dwarf with red hair and beard he is short with amazing digging skills. The protagonist was Artemis and the antagonist was Opal. The theme was revenge never solves anything. 1 quote is "Congratulations, Commander, you have managed to alienate the LEP's finest officer." I recomend this book to any who like fiction and good humor

Absolutely breathtaking, I really couldn't have asked for something better from Maggie Stiefvater. Her writing style has captivated since I read page 1 of Shiver, and I'm pretty sure it will continue to many years from now. My only heartache involving this book is that there probably won't be a follow-up on Sean and Puck's lives. But being in love with horses myself, I couldn't have been more happier with the ending. I recommend this to anyone in need of a heartfelt story. You certainly won't be disappointed. :)

David Maine has now taken three Old Testament stories and turned them into novels: The Preservationist (Noah), Fallen (Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel), and The Book of Sampson. He has a knack for showing several sides of these stories as his fertile mind sees them. In his take on Samson, we see zealotry, lust, stupidity, cunning, the nuances of gender relations, nationalism, and several other themes rise to the surface. Whereas in the biblical account, Samson comes across as a brutish zealot who's actually not very bright, Maine's take on him is both sympathetic (perhaps) and critical. We especially get into the mind of a strict believer with large urges to please both his god and his own lust. However, Maine also avoids what could have easily been reduced to a commentary on violence and terrorism. His portrait of Samson is much more subtle and interesting. I had just finished Samson Agonistes, John Milton's notable attempt to create a classic Greek tragedy out of an Old Testament tale, prior to reading Maine's book. The two takes on the story are quite distinct, but understandable in the context of what we learn in Judges. This made reading Maine's book all the more pleasing.
