Elliagne Aristodemou elliagne — Took longer to get through than I anticipated, so sadly that knocks it down a peg in my review. I didn't want to chew right through it for some reason. However, I enjoy watching Stephenson's characters develop towards one another and here it was done in fits but sufficiently. I also enjoy Stephenson's explorations of our we are to interact with technology in the future - very scary and exciting!

Connor Cuevas connorcuevc3db — Absolutely breathtaking, I really couldn't have asked for something better from Maggie Stiefvater. Her writing style has captivated since I read page 1 of Shiver, and I'm pretty sure it will continue to many years from now. My only heartache involving this book is that there probably won't be a follow-up on Sean and Puck's lives. But being in love with horses myself, I couldn't have been more happier with the ending. I recommend this to anyone in need of a heartfelt story. You certainly won't be disappointed. :)

Dcbdesign Dcbdesign dcbbranding — ** spoiler alert ** I gave myself a couple of days to get my thoughts together on this one because what began as a fantastic read for me, ended in massive disappointment. Throughout the first 300 or so pages I thought there was no way I wouldn't give this book 5 stars. I loved the writing style, and revisting pieces of history (lifetimes) through Daniel's eyes. The love story was intriguing, and although I had a sense things might not turn out well, I still held out hope for the couple. In the final 100 pages, however, the author REALLY dropped the ball. From the moment the imposter came into Lucy's life, through Daniel and Lucy's long awaited (and anti-climactic) reunion and finally with the disppointing ending - if you could call it an ending. I suspect there may be a sequel on the horizon but it was still a very odd way to end the book. I have no idea what the author's intentions were. Nothing else to say, other than I feel let down.
