I liked this pretty well. I only give it three stars because it felt almost too artful -- too deliberate. It felt like a young writer. Is that weird that I judge books on those kinds of grounds? At any rate, I immediately started talking about the book later, which means that the concept was good, which it was. And the whole idea of the dumper/dumpee differential. I am still wondering which I'd be. It just felt a little too calculated to get more than three stars.

Decent volume, and I like some of the new characters they introduced. However, I really feel like CLAMP rushed the Fuma & Kotari part of Kamui's plot here. It feels like the film handled Fuma and Kotari after Kamui's decision much more gradually then the manga is, which is saying something considering how rushed the movie was.

I confess.. a true wonder. This book took me to the wildest and most exciting of adventures at sea, it also helped me learn about what being a sailor really was at those times, and how hard it was to survive. I spent one afternoon reading this beauty, and fell in love with it.

For anyone who wants to read an inspirational book. Chuck Norris is a Christ driven man who had a hard life and over came the odds. He accredits his place in life to Christ yet understands that we all make mistakes and he's not afraid to write about his mistakes and how he learned from them. It's nice to read a book that you can actually see how Christ has work in his life. To me it was a very inspirational book.
