Well enough written. Lovely cover. I have to admit, I was going to say it was only okay, but then I read the author's note in the back and I revised my opinion. Now, normally, I don't believe that you should have to read the author's note to "get" a story, but in this case, it made sense to me.

Space Captain Smith follows the adventures of Isambard Smith of the British Empire and his crew's adventures against the Ghast Empire. A simple plot and hilariously stereotypical characters, playing with other sci-fi conventions and plots, add some intentionally overdone innuendo, and you might think the mix abominable, but the whole wrapping was lovable and I even laughed out loud on a few occasions. A good find via Goodreads.
