Florian Wu wuhao1115c32e — This was such a great book! I was once again amazed when I think about all the things people had to do just to exist! I too am very grateful for all our modern day conveniences, my life is sooo easy in comparison. I love all her one liners about her husband, "Home again, handsome and onery" and "crying over that man is a waste of water" and my favorite "taking up marriage is a good excuse for taking up cursing, I think". They are such a great example of a couple truly in love, but still truly real. I agree that I don't like the ending, why couldn't they just leave it with them living happily ever after.....I would have given it a 5, but I'm so addicted to happy endings.

潘 启根 a8773798263945 — I didn't give this four stars because of its literary quality. I gave this four stars because it's just an enjoyable, fun, light read. Sam is dying to be popular. She thinks opportunity knocks when Kyle, the "it girl" in school moves next door. But Kylie wants nothing to do with her. But Sam persists and therefore finds out Kylie's secret to popularity. A second skin. Slip it on and suddenly everyone notices you. So Sam steals the skin from Kylie and now it's her turn to be popular. Somewhat predictable... okay very predictable plot... but still a lot of fun.
