Ehsan Omid _hsanomid — Neal Shusterman always tells a weird but really good story.

Dick Baird _spressoman — This is the sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. While the illustrations are just as wonderful, the story is only so so. It is still worth a read if you like Cloudy.

Helen Player helenplayer — The Golden Cord was by far one of the most action packed, on the edge of your seat, adventure I have read this year. An adventure that I was excited to dive into.

Mario Castro mariocq — Dannion Brinkley's second novel about his near death experience and the work he has done since. I found the first novel a little better as this one tended to repeat alot of the info. from the first one. Still, it was an interesting read. André Lima andrelm — Michael Ian Black just has that that special sense of humor that people either 'get' or react poorly to. "My Custom Van" is the perfect example of that humor. Each concise, achingly humorous essay in his new book taps at a certain comedic funny bone. While this bone may not exist in us all, I am happy to say it is part of my skeletal frame. Short, punchy and often downright strange, Black tackles issues both inane and, well, more inane. But he does it with style. From Billy Joel at a dinner party to letters to a adolescent childhood sexual exploits, no out-of-bounds corners are cut, and the book is better for it. There is nothing about this book that screams "must read," but if you have enjoyed Black in any of his television offerings, this book will make for great toilet reading. My guess is Black would have it no other way.

Glenn Jordy glennjordy — 5 stars go to books that stay with me and that keep me coming back to them. The first time I read this book, I was inspired to pull out my pencil & underline beautiful reflections. It certainly was not a page turner- slow & contempletive- but I keep returning to re-read & underline more.
