Vivek Subramanian _ivek_ubramanian — Haha, so good! A female lead in a science fiction novel? Surely you jest! Rare but awesomely written. One of the better space operas I've seen and that makes me happy to write it! This is the first of a fairly long series! I've read five of them, and so far, this is my favorite one.

Heyraud Saodato _aodatoh — I really don't know what to think about this book. It is unique, it is interesting... but it is missing something I really don't know how to describe. With a hefty 500+ page count, it has plenty of room to tell an good story, but it doesn't ever really seem to get around to it. I realized about a third of the way through that nothing much had happened and I didn't really know many of the characters very well at all. I appreciate the way Selznick plays with genres and formats--and the illustrations are lovely--but I read a book mainly for the story. And, unfortunately, the story here just isn't very engaging. I wish it were... I really want to like this book more than I do.

Sherman Webster sherman_ebster — In the cookie cutter style that is the Nicholas Sparks books, this one is my personal favorite outside of the Notebook. If you don't know anything about this man's style of writing, just pick up one of his books and really you've read them all. Don't get me wrong, he is very good at this genre, but after the third or fourth read where everything feels a little too familiar, you just don't feel like needing to read anything more of his.

Valeriia Myroshnichenko _yroshnichenko_ — This book is one of my all time favorites! It is a beautiful story of love, friendship, and coping with loss that all children ages 10-100 should read.
