Mónica Bayona hardcandy07 — The series is getting a little tired, as most do. Somehow backwooks North Carolina and a measles epidemic isn't as compelling as the Rising or the Clearances, but that's the way it goes. I'm also not as taken with the next generation, but I'm still in this for the ride.

Aleksandar Sabados lexab021 — i remember reading this in secondary school, and damn near marveling at the wonderful cinematic quality of the the photographic illustrations, by this point i was well versed in the guide, though not as much as i am now, but i still think, and thought then, that the images genuinely add something to the story, for a start they were in an odd sort of way the closest thing we had to the fabled and promised film, in fact at one point i had been waiting for the film for as long as i had been a fan, i mean until Douglas Adams died and with tragic irony the film was made, i always thought it was a shame that they didn't do films for the rest of the books, and indeed this book had the same fate, and i think the same of it, whats more the book is apparently out of print which considering the massive popularity of the series is really rather strange, anyway its a good book and they should re print it and do more, it is in fact a good read, and very nice and sparkly too.
