Ruan Chagas ruantfcff25 — A long look back at the times of the Lesbian Wars. Johnston was smart, but very rigid in her day. Reading this is like reading the history of my life from the other side. Johnston's Lesbian Nation took no prisoners, you were with her or you didn't have a working brain. She took some of believers and started a Lesbian Nation of sorts. It dwindled and was rarely heard from again. The Michigan Women's Music Festival created an annual Women's Town which, like Brigadoon, comes to life for a couple of weeks in August every year. Like any communities, it has many mindsets, but it keeps on working because they keep working on it.

Victória Modena mdnvictoria — This is such a neat book! I recently became interested in using plant in the home to purify the air and this book was so helpful in providing an education on the topic. The information is informative, yet concise. It also includes a look at 50 individual plants and their performance in the home.

Nee Qiusuo quentini — Set in 2190 (I think) after some catastrophe has detroyed all modern civilization on Earth. It seems to start in the middle of the story, which would be fine it was eventually resolved, but it wasn't. The two main characters seem to be over a 1000 years old as they remember how everything used to be. Oh, and they have a plane...and guns. They then proceed to attempt to rebuild the human race with incessant melodramatic dialogue. Lots of exclamation points! However, the story did keep me engaged. I wanted to see how it turned out.
