I don't know who Jane Ray is, but she's pretty much amazing. How can someone be so talented to create a story that enjoyable, and pictures so gorgeous all at the same time???

After reading this book, I find it hard to imagine anyone who cannot see Zelazny as a masterful author whose ideas are not only conceived but executed with sublime talent. Though not one of his 'major' novels, Today We Choose Faces gives you a window into Roger's perception of humanity and how thick or thin the veneer of culture and civilization we wear really is.

A positively inspirational, educational book. I even really liked the second section about logotherapy. I think this ranks among one of the best books I've ever read and I feel like I have been changed for the better for reading it, as well as having some good things to think about.

I never received my copy that I won, but I did go out and buy a copy. Well there are definitely 2 sides to the coin of this book... on one hand I really liked the principles of being quiet, still, listen to ourselves, everything happens for a reason, realize just how connected we are to the people, plants, animals, and objects around us. There is a very real connection and energy. Now I love this stuff... however, the story itself... well it got my interest, it lost it, it got it, then it was difficult to just sit and read... too much back and forth and parts where I was just bored. Honestly, it makes me wonder if the writer ever went back and read what he wrote... I give it 2.5 stars.

I loved this series!! They are as addictive as the Harry Potter books... Magic and adventure with great characters and an enchanting story line. Young adult ages 9-12 but a great read for all ages! Have read the whole series again when I can't get to the library! =)
