Luca Iuliana iuliana_lu1aa6 — This book had a very intersesting perception of vampirism. They viewed it as a disease that people caught over the centuries with an undercover group curing them with perscriptions. Intriguing!

Chris Mulligan _ister_ulligan — This is weighty stuff. I hate how researchers have to be as verbose as possible when it's really not necessary. There's some good research in here, interesting findings. I think they now need to write a companion book for how to implement the research into a practical setting.

Christopher Lotito christopherlotito — I realize this is a classic of English literature, but I could never get past the fact that none of the characters were likable, or showed any signs of change or redemption. It was just multi-generational misery. The one upside I had was getting to visit the moors where Wuthering Heights was written while reading the book. It's a very dramatic, brooding landscape... and made it easier to see why Emily Bronte would reflect those same themes in her writing. Still wasn't enough to win me over to the book, though.

Kim Jin joy_jinjin — Historical fiction book about a family in the town of Cripple Creek, Colorado in the late 1800's. Based on the author's own grandfather's experiences, a mining accident leaves the father without his leg. This effects the family, which consists of Mom, Dad, and one daughter. The daughter, Mary, helps Dad to see that his "reminders," small handcrafted wooden renderings of people he knows, are valuable treasures. He learns he can be more than a miner. This would be a great book for kids who have parents that have suffered injuries, such as parents that come back injured from war or that receive an injury on the job. You see a small glimpse of the father's pain through the way he interacts differently with his family as he tries to adjust to life without his leg.

Wei Ping leophosphor — Emilie always writes great stories. My only complaint about this one is he didn't grovel enough for me. But it's well worth buying and reading.

Zh Olivier zh2o — The large mutual fund families may not be doing what is best for their investors. Some spend lots of money on advertising to market their products and thus, their fees can be high. Worst of all as the author of The Investor’s Dilemma points out they know how to disguise mediocre performance. Louis Lowenstein, an attorney and longtime corporate critic, reveals such shortcomings of mutual funds and more. But, most importantly, he presents a simple and practical method of evaluating mutual funds. So, buyer beware.

Damian Geisser dageisser — Saw someone with this book at Stumptown Coffee. Skimmed through it and felt instantly inspired. Apparently it's quite hard to find?
