Cute and a very quick read. While I found the flip flopping between two men to be distracting to the story and a bit annoying, I still was entertained. Also, there are several recipes throughout the book that look to be quite tasty. :-)

This was probably my least favorite of the Who audiobooks I've listened to. The story is kind of weak, and pretty convoluted, or maybe I just wasn't paying good attention. Still, lovely to listen to Tennant tell more Tenth Doctor stories!

Epic. As usual, George does an incredibly well-researched job of portraying history's "bad guys" as human beings. Here, she writes from Henry VIII's perspective, giving him a personality and a heart rather than simply a penchant for beheading ex-wives. Anyone with a historical background in the era will be excited about the sheer amount of fact-based detail she puts into the book - at the end, she lists some of her sources for further reading (most are scholarly).

I was a little disappointed when I first started this book because I thought it was about "Snooki" and her life. After I got over that initial disppointment I really enjoyed the book. I felt like the plot was good and always kept me guessing as to what would happen next. I have to say I really didn't care for the way it ended, but overall I enjoyed the book.

قد يختلف معي كثيرين، لكنني أحب القراءة لعمر طاهر. فكرة الضحك من أجل الضحك ليست سيئة على الإطلاق. في أجواء كهذه، وعقب زخم نجيب محفوظ وتوفيق الحكيم تحتاج استراحة، لكنها تكون استراحة قراءية، وبرما يقابل ريا سكينة، ومختلف كتب عمر طاهر تقوم بهذا الدور. أعجبني في هذا الكتاب الكتيب الملحق به لبعض مقولات برما. كانت حكم لطيفة بها بعض العمق وكثير من القلش. الكتاب نفسه تجميع لمقالاته في الدستور، أكثر ما راق لي مقالته الأولى عن تشريحه للمجتمع المصري واصفاً إياه لصديق تركي، ومقال السعادة ومظاهرها، ومقال عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. ميزة "طاهر" أنه يدقق بتفاصيل حياتية بصورة جيدة، ونعم كتاباته من النوع "الطياّر"، الذي قد تنساها بمجرد الانتهاء منها، لكنه يؤدي غرض مُفقتد وهام: أن تضحك!.
