I was disappointed in this one...the beginning was very dated (lolcats, sigh) and the dialogue was often forced, and by the end the characters had made decisions that were not fitting to their personalities. It got to the point where I was confused as to who was who when reading from their own POV.

Dr. Rogers' books are always full of practical information you can use for the rest of your life. Her titles aren't always the best match for the contents, but I'm sure that is her publisher's doing in order to increase sales. The contents always covers the title, but always includes so much more helpful information.

Drug addiction. A hard thing to over come, and a very easy thing to fall into. Kristina falls into this group of people ans goes through a bout of bad situations that she placed herself in while hurting her slef with the wrong guys, alcohol, and drugs. On a visit to Reno to visit her father she finds out the reason her mother and father left each other was that her father was addicted to drugs. in this enviroment Kristina meets Buddy who gets her started doing Crank. Buddy and Kristina have sex precious to Kristina finding out that Buddy had a girlfriend. after this Buddy, his girlfriend, Kristina, and Kristina's father are getting high in the stock room at the bowling ally that Kristina's father works at it hits Kristina that there is something wrong with this picture, and leaves to go home to her mothers. Once back at her mothers Kristina realizes that it is too late to break her addiction and finds some people that she knows are good to score from. She no longer calls her slef Kristina she now calls her slef Bree, Kristina was her mothers good girl that had stright A's and never got into any trouble. Bree was the outgoing one Bree was the drug addict, Bree was the problem. Kristina met Chase and Bree met Brendon. Chase loved Kristina Kristina loved Chase, to a point, the point that her high wore off that is where Brandon came in Bree was with Brandon to get drugs and would do anything to ensure that she would have that fix. As Kristina falls deep and deeper in love with Chase and had sex, Brandon rapes Bree. after getting high and drinking for the past month and a half Kristina notices she has not been getting her period. She is pregnant, with her rapist baby. Chase is so in love with Kristina that he stays with her and helps her sober up. This book is clearly saying that no one should try drugs no matter who does it and what anyone says. There are many reasons not to do drugs and this Crank gives us just a few of those.
