What artist doesn't have this book? It's just a neccessary library requirement. I like to pick it up when I meet new people and look at their birthdays and what silly stuff Andy decided to write about that day. Or, if I have a partically boring day I'll sometimes pick it up and see what Andy did in hopes that it will inspire me.

This is an amazing book. It's about a boy who has a lot of issues with himself. Wich is uncommon, because these sort of books mostly are about girls. It's a truely amazing, beautiful book and I love it. Laurie Halse Anderson is such a good writer!

Finally finished this book. It was interesting but I felt like it was dragging on and on and on. The explanation of experiments/studies was never clear cut and I kept finding myself going back and rereading.

This book follows several trouble adolescents, each of them trying to find a way to cope with their individual issues. From pregnancy, drugs, gangs, abuse and more, these kids struggle to make correct decisions. Some of them find refuse at their friend Keesha’s house. Throughout this poem narrated book, each kid learns about how to cope with life. I like the idea of this book. I enjoy having a book deal with real life issues. It shows the highs and lows of different people’s lives. Although you could come from a great family, there are still challenges. What I did not like about this book is the format. It was hard to follow the story of each individual character. I would suggest this for a classroom setting because you could read it in class and be able to follow and study the characters more in depth.
