Excellent book. Learned a lot about the KJB, King James, and Jacobean times. Author's writing is conversational with good tidbits of information. The KJB is not my favorite version of the Bible, but I have a greater respect for it now. I will now listen for the lyrical rhapsody in its verses. Even Shakespeare was involved with the translation-indirectly, of course. his literary presence carried the times. 2011 is the 400th anniversary of the KJB.

I read this book out just plain curiousity. Like they say, 'curiousity killed the cat'. Haunted left me disturbed and bothered by what the characters were doing to each other. But I was ultimately left intrigued by each of the characters backgrounds.

I read this aloud with the girls this spring and it was very fun to compare the book to the movie that they love so much. Plus, my Mallory has gotten to the point that she's really great at taking turns reading aloud to us too. It was a great read for us all at night.

It was a really good book and it was surprisingly funny (judging by the cover). You have to actually read the book to see how funny it is. One of the best series I have read so far and I can say this even though this is only the second book.

I was given this book to read when I was 13 by the wife of the Minister of my church. Mad props to her. It was a challenging book, not vocabulary-wise but emotionally and content-wise, at the time and I remember being quite moved by it. I wonder what my reaction would be now...
