One of my favorites by Elizabeth Peters. Set in Egypt a young model attemts to clear her deceased father's name. The result is a frenzied search for a tomb only her father knew the whereabouts of. As always the plot is well thought out. The suspects are aplenty and a surprising romance is tossed in for good measure. She is an incrediable author - I highly recommend all of her works.

I LOVED this book!!!! Darcangelo is HOT! HOT! HOT! and Tessa is a doll and a fighter. Tessa is an I-Team reporter and finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, she witnesses the murder of a young girl and can't get it out of her mind. Darcangelo sees that Tessa witnesses the murder, Tessa thinks Darcangelo is the murderer, but Darcangelo is really an undercover agent. This story had all kinds of twists and turns. It is sexy, emotional and has funny moments. One of my favorite is when Darcangelo says “I’m half Italian” Tessa asks “which half?” he answers “the bottom” Julian Darcangelo is the stuff dreams are made of tortured, alpha male, possessive, passionate except he has never had love, he grew up with a pimp for a father and as a child only had various prostitutes as the females in his life, the one time he thought he was in love, ended in him finding her in bed with his father. Darcangelo goes from tough guy to an undercover agent. Tessa grew up as poor “white trash” in Texas, with an abusive grandfather and a young mother who appeared not to care, Tessa escapes Texas, dons a new persona finishes college and goes on to build a life in Denver. I have now read all 5.5 I-team books that are currently out, I loved each one. But I have to stay with Darcangelo as my favorite man =) NOTE: my JG friends....Darcangelo is Tony Martinez hot....all that latino sexiness and machismo =)
