It's been a while since I've read this, but I still feel like I can remember a lot about it. I liked this book much better than the first one, but that's really not saying much. I still feel that the Showtime adaptation is much better than the books. This one at least brought something new to the table because they completely changed the "killer." I understand why given his gruesome methods. It wouldn't make for good TV. There were a handful of twists that I appreciated, but overall the book was still pretty lackluster for me. I always question why I ever read this one given that I didn't like the first. I have no plans on slugging through book 3.

This series has really grown on me and I had SO much fun reading Rebel Angels (book #2). Since I was already familiar with the circumstances, I could just sail right through the story and I really got absorbed into everything! Throughout the story I wasn't sure who to trust, which made for good entertainment. Also, after reading so many books with bad language, it's been SO refreshing to read something clean and language-free. (not sure if there was a word or two here and there - but I don't remember any...)
