when i finished this book, I was flooded with warm happy feelings. later, when i was able to think clearly, I noticed that there were a lot of unanswered questions. The novel could have been even better.

Well, I loved the idea of this book but never finished it. I had checked it out from the library and after a month am still not done. I usually fly through books in less than 4 days. I never did get to the part about how to hold on to your kids. It could have done with so much less in the beginning.

I know that some have not liked this book and I am not sure I would have stayed with it except that I was listening to it and it makes a very good read aloud. I especially liked that they used two readers, one for Margaret and one for Vida. This morning I had to just sit and listen to the end because I really want to see how it turned out.
