This book made me laugh and cry SO hard. I love how the authors mix humor with the aftermath of WWII, that isn't an easy thing to do tastefully. There are so many heros in this book that it can't help but inspire you! This book was amazing and I think anyone who wants a good read that will really make you feel things needs to read this book.

Not one of my favorites, though I have met Tony and LOVE his other plays. I just find the monologues in this one to be cumbersome. It's just a matter of taste, though-- this is one of my husband's favorites.

This was a hard read for me, because that girl had the gift of gab that drove me up the wall. The author was able to annoy the heck out of me with her writing. All in all, the book turned out to be pretty good.

I've been reading this one for almost 2 years. At first I would concentrate on a question or concern and then see where the book opened to. I decided at the beginning of this year to read it cover to cover with each daily reading corresponding to the calendar date. I've found that either way it's always given me something that pertains to what's going on in the moment.

A feel good book about how we all have stuff in our lives that we don't want people to see or know about us, and how much better life is when we let our friends help us. Sometimes people's lives on the outside look so perfect, when in reality, we all have troubles. I thought the author did a good job of showing this. I laughed, I cried, and I related. It was a good read.
