I had read good things about this author and gave it a whirl. It was a bit slow throughout, documenting life in a slow moving small town. I'm still going to try the Gilead since I've read that's her best book. We'll see...

I read this long before The Da Vinci Code came out, and liked it much better. This book had me on the edge of my seat! The DV Code used many of the same plot devices, so it wasn't nearly as exciting as Angels & Demons. If you haven't read either book, read this one first!

Well I made it. Over all it was a good story. The problem I had, is that the story should have been shortened to two, maybe three books at the most. The story really made me think about the comming end of the world and what will actually happen. It was interesting to see how Satan and his angels were used and what they were thinking. So, if you have a lot of time and are interested, they are not bad books, just very long ones. The worst I think was the 5th becuase not much happens to progress the story. My favorite was the 3rd one (I think, the story is a bit meshed now in my head!) Enjoy

WTF! i keep this book around to scare the crap out of myself when i'm feeling particularly open to far out ideas. either there was some heavy duty crazy in this guys noggin, or we are wrong about nearly everything. even if its little bit of both, i'd still be quite concerned.

I had a hard time reading this book because the main character was really annoying. But it's one of those books that I liked a lot more after I finished it. It's quite funny, and I think it could make a hilarious movie.
