João Ricardo joaoricardoramos — This book is incredibly informative about the different types of medications and techniques used for dealing with pain in labor. I am very thankful for having read it and feel more confident about decisions I will need to make when the time comes.

Tadeu Canavez tadeucanavez — For all the South Asian books I've read, this is the only one I've read from Pakistan. That in itself makes the read worthwhile. It was all-round enjoyable.

Valeria Matyashchuk _aleria_atyasch — I normally love Jennifer Weiner's books, but I can only say that I liked this one. I think it was the fact that I wasn't ever really sure how to describe the plot: it's a bit rambling, and there's no clear cut turning point, climax, or denouement. The switch from first to third person narration was interesting, but I could see where it would turn others off; ditto from past to present scenes. There's not much redemption to Valerie and it's unclear how she and Addie rekindle a friendship; it's also not a very believable resolution to Valerie's situation with Dan. I also need to make note of how blatant patterns appear in the books, and I wish it'd be a little less obvious. Any Jennifer Weiner novel is pretty much guaranteed to contain one or more of the following: fat girl/woman, swimming, pregnancy (I so saw this one coming), absent male father figure, infidelity, male willing to father another man's child.

Somar H somar50 — Fabulous! I love all things Phantom and this was outstanding. I thought the Opera Ghost was much scarier in the book and I was intrigued with the idea that this all really happened. I find myself romantically clinging to Leroux's opinion that this was no myth, yet I still feel somewhat the skeptic. Are the events true? No? I suggest you read the book, including the prologue, and decide for yourself.

Reji Samuel _eji_amuel — This is a long one. Wierd. Makes you think. One of those that I started and had to finish. I liked it enough but wouldn't put it on my top 10.

Andre Lawson _eptic — A friend at work recommended this one - so far, it's been good. Too soon, though, to really tell.
