Plot: Just glancing at the summary of this book, it might seem like it's a nice, light read. There are parts of the story that are, indeed, light parts of the book, like the romance, but there's also more serious things in there, like Savannah's asthma, and friend and family relationships. I really liked how this seemed like a nice, light read, but it was also serious. Characters: I loved all of the main characters. It was very easy to relate to them. A lot of people were commenting on how Savannah is a really smart student, yet she still uses words like 'ain't' and some improper grammar. I thought this was a nice touch to the book. The Southern accent that is written as Savannah's voice was one of my favorite parts of the story. Wow Factor: I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice light, yet serious, read. If you're looking for a kind-of light read to remind you about summer, Breathing is definitely it.

I am a big fan of reading juvenille non-fiction books. They give all the information that adult non-fiction books give but much more succiently and efficiently. This is a great intro to art book. Great to share with your kids.

It wasn't a bad book. His ideas are very basic and self explanatory for the most part. Good read for average person, but someone serious about investing would be better served to spend their time elsewhere.

I did not like this and really struggled to finish it. I'm not a big fan of non fiction, so perhaps that was the issue? Either that or I lack a heart. I felt like it was more of a string of facts written in paragraph form than an actual story.
