Velislava Kovatcheva velis — That book changed everything

Anya Berezko _nna_erezko — I listened to the audio book, and Tina was a delight to listen to. Some of her parenthetical statements were hard to hear in the car. She also has a way of writing about more mundane things in a way that makes it interesting to listen to and usually funny.

Jon Min jonminchoi — Plot: Just glancing at the summary of this book, it might seem like it's a nice, light read. There are parts of the story that are, indeed, light parts of the book, like the romance, but there's also more serious things in there, like Savannah's asthma, and friend and family relationships. I really liked how this seemed like a nice, light read, but it was also serious. Characters: I loved all of the main characters. It was very easy to relate to them. A lot of people were commenting on how Savannah is a really smart student, yet she still uses words like 'ain't' and some improper grammar. I thought this was a nice touch to the book. The Southern accent that is written as Savannah's voice was one of my favorite parts of the story. Wow Factor: I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice light, yet serious, read. If you're looking for a kind-of light read to remind you about summer, Breathing is definitely it.

Sue Sue suesuesue00 — Another good one. With friends like these characters, who needs enemies? Yet another setting that has a soul of its own, too. I actually took a summer vacation with friends one year to the low country in S.C. just to experience the powerful place from this book.
