The first three books in this series aren't exactly great works of literature, but they at least kept me engaged and hungry for the next plot twist. In comparison, this book seemed so anticlimactic and drawn out to about twice the length it needed to be. I'm happy to (finally) be done with it. Also, I don't recommend reading this book if you're pregnant or thinking about becoming pregnant. Reading the tale of a half-vampire child growing in a woman's belly and nearly killing her from the inside out is not the reassurance a pregnant woman needs that she'll have a safe, healthy, and comfortable pregnancy. Bah.

Inspiring, good ideas for achieving a goal, especially weight loss but her repeated descriptions of her body and what bothered her about it was a bit offsetting. Maybe I saw too much of myself there. She was honest in describing her problems and embarrassing moments. I admire her achievement, not only of loosing all the weight but of running marathons.

Enjoyable thriller, the structure works very nicely. The ending is something of a disappointment, but on balance I enjoyed this enormously.

I wasn't familiar with the Zodiac murders until I saw the movie, which I enjoyed so much that I was inspired to read both Zodiac books by Robert Graysmith. (Also, apparently I used to live about an hour away from where the murders took place?) This book was fairly interesting; I'd guess it would be hard to screw something like that up, when you're dealing with a demented serial killer who calls himself the Zodiac and sends messages in funky code. The prose was a little clunky, and it felt like writing nonfiction didn't really come naturally to Graysmith, but it turned out okay.

This is a great poem book that is about different types of life found in, on and around a pond. It would be useful if someone was teaching young children about nature. The poems give clues to what kind of life it is about and you have to figure out what the animal, plant or insect is discribed in the poem. On each page is information about the life that the poem is written about.This book is fun and infomative.
