I read this with my 13 year old son, and we both loved it. Lots of little tidbits from the Bible that you don't hear about, and insights into some aspects of Judaism and Christianity that really work in the life of the author after his experiment is done.

How can you not like a story in which a family of mites living in its host's eyebrows has a conversation with its host? The drawings were charming and I learned more about Darwin the man as well as his theory. If you are looking for an in-depth analysis forget it this is not the book to read.

I read this in one night! Really good read especially considering what Cameron experienced at the hands of his dead wife (although I do think they could have given more details on it). I love this series and this family. I may actually go back and read the series from the beginning in anticipationg of Hart's book (not sure when it's coming out). READ THIS SERIES!!!!

I absolutely loved this book. It will be on my favorite list. I have always thought John Bytheway was a very dynamic and fun speaker, great to listen to. Now that I have read one of his books, I will say they are the same. This book was full of energy, fun to read, interesting and very insightful. It will be one that I will purchase, read and re-read and get all of my kids to read. (Especially my boys.) War is very scary to me, I have not lived through a war that was on my door step as others have, so I at times, am very frightened and overwhelmed that it could happen at anytime near and around me. Reading this, I feel comforted, and at peace. If I live a righteous life, and have the Lord on my side, what is there to fear? Reading these chapters and reading these lessons and learning from them is the most important thing we can do to keep the peace in our hearts. Love It!!!!!!

I never feel like writing reviews... but OMG!! I'm making an exception for this book!!! Un-feckin-believable dude!! xD I can honestly say that Dreamfever is one of the best books I've ever read and it is certainly my favorite of the series (I just started reading Shadowfever so i dunno if it's better or not yet :P) I finished this book at 2am and I was so wound up that I didn't sleep for another hour... And I had to be up by 6.30 to get ready for school .:P What I liked: *fast-paced *funny, mysterious, sexy... ;P *exellent plot *BARRONS!! * And the Ending!!!! :O:O I was SO not expecting that!!! Quite frankly there was nothing i didn't like ;) It's brilliant from the very first page! If you yet haven't read it, I don't know what the 'feck' you're waitng for! "Bring it on, Tinker Bell."

Warren Ellis’ first novel is kind of sketchy and underwritten, with its characters careening around the country from one piece of American Grotesque to another. Mike and Trix are likeable, if somewhat thinly presented—two lines of dialogue from Trix about why she likes Mike are probably the closest the narrative comes to conveying why we should root for the guy. In a more perfect world, Ellis would have spent less time on all the gross shit our heroes encounter (and there is a lot of gross shit—the novel opens with a mutant rat pissing in Mike’s coffee, and spirals downward from there) and more time developing the pair themselves. That said, what does make it to the page is strangely compelling, and Ellis is, as usual, a sharp and witty writer. The book kind of reads like Transmet Lite, but for what it is—for a book I finished in three bus rides and one lunch break—I enjoyed it, almost in spite of itself.

Didn't finish. Got about a fifth of the way in and got tired of reading about all kinds of details but not having the story go anywhere. Skipped to end, and discovered that after six hundred some pages, nothing much more happened. Though I imagine there were lots of details.
