Kitten's First Full Moon is simplistic and humorous, which will captivate all-ages through repetitive phrases, rhythmic text, and a sequence of events. The sequence of events entails the desire, action, consequences, and finally the resolution to the kitten’s goal. There is a beginning and ending to the kitten’s adventure. In between (the beginning and end) the author illustrates the kitten’s movement, which makes it possible for the younger audience to follow the kitten from point A to point B. This is also a good place to engage the older audience and ask them, “What is kitten doing?” or “Where is kitten going?” (Dialogic Reading). The black and white illustrations with thick black lines offer contrast imagery, which is good for the younger audience as their vision isn’t fully developed. Yet, these illustrations will not bore an older audience, as the kitten is full of expressions when she attempts to reach the big milk bowl in the sky. Okay. I REALLY liked this book. So many different layers I didn't bored and the end didn't disappoint. If it weren't so darn big, I would reread to catch somethings I am sure I missed. I like the mythology, ancient god, folktaley stuff and this is full of it.

I've ogled many a Jessica Day George book at the library while browsing the YA section but they never seem to make their way home with me. When Bloomsbury offered this middle grade novel through NetGalley, I knew I had to request it. What I encountered in reading this book was a darling mystery adventure that will really capture your heart. I quickly fell in love with the setting, the characters, the villians, the magic, the adventure--everything! Castle Glower isn't a normal castle--it's enchanted. It shifts its rooms and hallways to suit its mood and needs. It shifts to show favor. It does all of these things seemingly on its own, but it shows special favor to Princess Celie, our young MC who loves the castle eccentricities and spends much of her time creating an atlas of the castle. When Celie's parents and oldest brother go missing, she and her siblings, Rolf and Lilah, must work together with the castle to fight the bad guys who want to take over the kingdom, and Celie's knowledge of the castle comes in handy more than once. Celie is an incredibly endearing main character. She's fiercely loyal to her family and deeply suspicious of outsiders. She's also really smart and thinks on her toes. She comes up with fabulous schemes to outsmart the bad guys and keep them guessing. It's easy to see why the castle favors her because she simply believes in its magic to its fullest extent. Kids and adults alike will easily fall in love with this fun tale of daring tricks and escapes. I think kids will delight in the childrens' plans to outsmart and outwit the adults. It's the kind of novel that will let your imagination run wild, from the ever changing castle to the plans that kids devise. Magic is well-incorporated into the story and the castle really almost becomes a character in its own right. It's ever-changing rooms and it's secret passages are sure to strike a chord with kids. What kid doesn't imagine living and playing in secret passageways and spying on adults through secret peepholes hidden behind drapes? It's a kind of fantasy world that gives you a clear, beautiful picture of the surroundings but leaves a lot to your imagination. The simplicity of the writing strikes a beautiful contrast to the imaginative landscape of the novel. This is a quick read because once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down, and Ms. George's writing simply flows wonderfully. One of the best things (for me) about this book is that it has a well-structured beginning, middle, and end--despite being the first in a series. Gone are the all-too-popular cliffhangers. This book will make readers want to pick up the next book because it's sure to be a fun, magical read--not simply because the author left them hanging in the previous book.

This is an extremely refreshing book on the call and work of pastor in the local church. "Refreshing" is an interesting word to use since the book was written a few hundred years ago by a Puritan pastor, but it is very much needed in relevent for today's pastoral leadership. The Puritans had a way of discipling and preaching that disregards the 'fluff' found in most churches today. For example, he discusses how he would visit each of the members of his church and challenge them on their doctrinal positions and teach them. WOW, is this even considered in most church's today. Let's get back to "watching our life and doctrine." (Timothy)

I am not fond of this author's books. But this book isn't bad one. It has so many flashbacks (not my favourite), it's about a man who wants to know what happened to his neighbor who was raped, no one know who did this, only the family (of teenager who was raped) know the truth. He found the truth 15 years later. It was very interesting, it was dull in the beginning, you have to bear with it for while, then middle of the story got better and it got easier to read from there.

Fabtabulous, Awesometastic, fabuloso, KILLER!! Love! LOVE! LOVE!! I seriously didn't think anything could top a wolf.... and sure... nothing can... but a berserker is soooooo close!! I bet most of you have read reviews on this book so my review is just going to be squees. *Regin was awesometastic in her butt-kicking skills and being all COME HITHER in the beginning. *Nix was crazy as hell but that's why we love her. *New addiction Bertil was fabulous and now I want a bat as a pet! Loved him! *New boy Thad had that new car smell and reminded me of Jimmy Olsen from Superman (but still GREAT!) *Aidan the big viking warrior can raid my village any day of the week. *Declan in the beginning was hard to get along with but at the end it just felt oh so right! squee squee! *I freaking ADORED the prologue. Though rather lengthy it was PERFECT. *THe epilogue took my breath away and was too too short. I seriously can not wait for more books and I sooooooooooo want Uilleam to get his own book. (make it happen Kresley!!! *shakes fist and prances on tip toes like a spastic fangirl) Again... love love LOVED this book!! favorite line: Could any male make her feel as he had the night he'd lightly rasped his blond stubble over her stomach and murmured, "I want babes with you- berserker sons and Valkyrie daughters." He raised his head at her with clear gray eyes. "Give them to me one day" -Aiden the Fierce to Regin (taken from prologue) All I can say is "I'm melting! melting! MELTING!" (in squees)

It is such a cliche novel but it has Moments that take you deeper into the mind of Rachel which is unique to this book. You never want to put it down!

One of my favorite books ever! I loved everything about this book. I did not know how Graceling would ever be equaled. This book does that and more. I just really hope that we have not heard the last of the people of the Dells. I need more of everyone!

The Great Gatsby birçok insanın iddia ettiği bir klasik midir? Kısa bir romana ihtiyacınız varsa Great Gatsby'yi okuyun. Dil oldukça yüksek. Bu gerçekten çavdar avcısı değil.
