روايتها الأولى أحلى بكثير .. من وجهة نظري انها استعجلت في كتابة روايتها وما خلت روايتها الأولى تاخذ وقتها ..

What a whiner... but I love him anyway. Jeff Brown's Clumsy is an intimate (and one-sided) look at a long distance relationship. It reads like every conversation with a lame boy you've ever had in your life. And yet, it is great. Read with Brown's mini-comic BE A MAN to help balance things out.

a great appeal to why we need to focus on redesigning the way industry functions, rather than spend time attempting to make a flawed design "less bad." written by an architect and a chemist that are proving it can and must be done. and the physical book itself is pretty rad, too.

This is my favorite novel. Nabokov's writing style is staggering, his storytelling equally powerful. I can never get over the fact that English is not his native tongue, because he uses it with more beauty and poetry than most writers I've read. Most people can recite a handful of literature's famous first lines ("It was the best of times, it was the worst of times," "Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself," "In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since," and so on), but few memorize the first four full paragraphs of a novel. All true Nabokov fans know the following by heart: "Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. Lo. Lee. Ta. "She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always Lolita. "Did she have a precursor? She did, indeed she did. In point of fact, there might have been no Lolita at all had I not loved, one summer, a certain initial girl-child. In a princedom by the sea. Oh when? About as many years before Lolita was born as my age was that summer. You can always count on a murderer for a fancy prose style. "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, exhibit number one is what the seraphs, the misinformed, simple, noble-winged seraphs, envied. Look at this tangle of thorns." Always beautiful to my ears. Lee

Maeve Binchy is a reliable choice for a story that presents characters with choices, then lets the reader enjoy the resolutions. As she often does, Binchy presents a set of people with a set of problems. Their interactions and choices involve the reader, and the reassuring outcomes are soothing. Sometimes that's just what I need!
This is The Angel Experiment with witches and wizards. Evil government, the government wants you/ your family, you get in trouble everywhere you go...It was a nice story line and a good read, but REALLY annoying that it was practically the same story..and I got REALLY disappointed to find out James Patterson uses lots of writers to write for him and they don't get a lot of credit..turned me off a little. I will read the next in the series, but I do not think I will continue after that.
