I loved this book so hard. Because I loved the characters. I loved Sam, and his best friend Ramon, and their adorable friend Brooke, who is helping them to "break" Frank, the new employee at Plumpy's Burgers. I loved Sam's family, ALL of them, and I was actually sad when I realized that his stepdad was dead. (He was such a great guy in that flashback!) Lish McBride has a true gift for characters, and I am so excited that this looks like it's the first in a series, because I need some more Sam! And the story is nothing to sneeze at, either. It's very clever, and fun. But seriously: Ashley the perky Harbinger! Saucy senior citizen Mrs. W.! These are some AWESOME characters. And, two words, kids: zombie panda. Yep.

I can't say it much better than Heidi did. Man Oh Man.. I loved the ride. Damon had me from the opening scene, dressing the man in a kilt. I can't wait for Damon's next offering. Write/edit faster Damon! I already have it marked as a to read - to buy.

Entertaining and gripping. Not as enjoyable as the Chronicles trilogy, though. The story is more complex yet at times I don't "feel" the characters. Maybe because they're too many.

I was definitely a watcher of the show and I really enjoyed this graphic novel as a return to that world. I also really liked the different artists who contributed it is really amazing all the different comic styles. The story itself was also decent, a collection of past-present-future renditions of the slayer mythos. My favorite are the future slayers, though it became a little true blood like in its complaint of vampire politics and coming out of the coffin, it was still a good collection. Also the book is really nicely bound with a red ribbon page marker...nice touch :)

Interesting...very interesting! Patterson does a great job with the description of these amazing main characters and the plot line strangely fits very well. I was caught in the story the whole time not expecting the exciting turns. It was a quick read for me because I could never put it down.
