Me and my friend Sara read this book and the pages go by fast and it is an easy story to read. But the personality of the main character was very dull. It was like reading a diary of someone who does, literally, the same things every day. It's not that it was even boring... it was just... not my thing.

I love, love, love the first book, Paranormalcy, so I just knew I had to get my hands on a copy of Supernaturally when it came out! And it's awesome! Evie is back in all her witty glory, and so are the rest of the hilarious cast. I adore all of the old characters (like Lend!), but I also fall hard for the new characters too (like Jack, who — despite being annoying sometimes — is always funny). Supernaturally is so, so different from Paranormalcy, but not at all in a bad way! We get to see a whole new side of Evie, explore more of the Faerie Realms, and discover more about her mysterious past. The only thing I regret is that we don't see much of Tasey in this book. Or Evie's crazy-awesome boots. But I guess that just adds to the realism, something this series definitely has! All in all, Supernaturally is a great sequel! I don't adore it as much as I did with book one, but I still recommend that you pick this one up! Can't wait until Endlessly comes out! :) BUY or BORROW?: With the hilarious one-liners and witty remarks, you should definitely add this book to your collection! Such a marvelous start to the series. The world building is amazing, the adventures fun and scary, the friendships and characters so real. Interesting to see the foundations for things many books later being built here. It's been years since I read this book, but it felt familiar and homey. One continuity thing is that Ron said that Invisibility cloaks were very rare and expensive, and Dumbledore also referred to them in the plural. Doesn't the fact that it's a Deathly Hallow mean it's one of a kind? First read: Fall 1999

I was expecting a little more from this one. The premise was really good, and I was kept guessing as to what was really going on with the characters and how the main character got to be in the situation she was in. By the time I got to the end of the book, I had figured out what happened. I felt the ending was a little bit of a let down, it seemed to fizzle out a bit. There is definitely some similarities to the movie Memento in terms of the memory loss and having to learn about yourself all over again each day. Overall, a decent read but nothing I'm going to be shooting out recommendations for.

NO SPOILERS!! OK - holy crap - this was an outstanding book…I couldn't put it down!! I LOVED IT!! Again, the premise, as in the first novel of this series…Infected…is totally plausible and very scary. The characters all carried over to Contagious seamlessly as did the story and writing. All I can say is that the ever increasing intensity as the story went on was designed perfectly and the writing brought you along breathlessly and enthusiastically. The action, the science, the weaponry, the characters (good, bad), the geography, the smells, the sounds, the death, the violence - all of it was done very, very well. BOTTOM LINE - you have to read this book…but read Infected first!! Earlier today I ordered Pandemic - the 3rd and final novel in the series - HURRY!!!!!!!

Ahhh, the instruction manual for anal retentives. I loved this book. It's a great reality check. Unfortunately, for the truly compulsive such as myself, it's one we have to keep on our shelves and regularly re-read or else we start, you know, sweating again.

OK...I read this book last year as a read aloud to my second graders with the help of our classroom teacher Elaine Connolly. OH MY GOD. This was an EXTRAORDINARILY well written, HEART WRENCHING book of love. I would recommend it to 2nd grade and higher..perfect maybe for a 3, 4, 5th grader. Truly moving....wonderful A+++
