Daniela Guzmán recortable — Lex's story and Lana's were definitely the best. This graphic novel has an awesome grasp of the tradition Superman mythology but is never boring or dated :] There is one great quote by Lois about how much money Lex earns that is fantastic: "We were bored and tired and we tried to figure out how much Luthor makes. Our best guess? One hundred and fifty dollars a second. In other words, if Lex Luthor found a hundred dollar bill lying in the street...it wouldn't be worth his time to pick it up." Genius!

Filmmaker At filmmakeratlarge — I was expecting a little more from this one. The premise was really good, and I was kept guessing as to what was really going on with the characters and how the main character got to be in the situation she was in. By the time I got to the end of the book, I had figured out what happened. I felt the ending was a little bit of a let down, it seemed to fizzle out a bit. There is definitely some similarities to the movie Memento in terms of the memory loss and having to learn about yourself all over again each day. Overall, a decent read but nothing I'm going to be shooting out recommendations for.

Alexis Porro _lexis_orro — The Bell Jar is what The Catcher in the Rye tries and fails to be - the story of a detached youth, a social misfit, slowly losing grip of reality. For Esther Greenwood, life is an existential wasteland void of meaning or purpose. The world makes little, if any sense. She struggles to orchestrate basic human behaviors - eating, bathing, sleeping. I won't give much else away, suffice to say that Esther is, in many ways, a piece within us all. The ending is softly sweet. One of the best books I've read in the past year.
