A lot of things in this book didn't really make sense to me (maybe it's because I didn't read it closely enough), such as why Spike AND Mr. Darcy show interest in the main character. I found her somewhat snobby, and I'm still confused as to whether Darcy was a hallucination, a dream, a real man, etc. All in all this book is a modern day re-telling of Jane Austen's book. If you're planning on reading this, you might as well just read the original.

I finally finished the book. For the last 1/3 I would read until the point when I felt like crying, then stop for a day or two. It's engrossing and depressing and lovely. Henry and Clare are part of my life now.

This is a short little book about marketing and advertising. It makes a couple of interesting points about marketing yourself, but it was definitely written for a group of people with personalities, skills, and talents very different from me. :) I like the ideas to: * strive for excellence * have a vision for yourself * share your ideas freely * don't look for the next opportunity, but realize the one in hand is the opportunity * accentuate the positive * don't be afraid to make mistakes * take responsibility My main takeaway from this and other thoughts from the day was to re-examine what I want to do and then do that the best I can....while having some self compassion. :)
