Tarvyn is a demon; he is a Synn demon fated to bring pleasure in the bedroom, but his father Pahele has asked him to go to a battlefield of the late seventeen century and help the souls of the dying soldiers to leave the earth in peace. But he spent all his energy doing so and he need to regain it making sex. And among the soldiers arrived to help the survivors he finds Bailey, an English Captain, who has denied for all his life his desire for men. But Tarvyn can read his mind and he knows the truth. But Bailey's men and some monks coming to help recognize in Tarvyn the demon, even if his earth features are those of a young and blond man, more like an angel then a demon. So Tarvyn is obliged to take Bailey with him on Niflheim, the land of the dead, the Hell. Because he knows that Bailey is his soul mate: but to be his real soul mate, Bailey has to rescue the soul of Tarvyn and only a true lover can do that, or die if not succeeded. This is a brief novel full of myth and imagination. Perfectly settled in an unusual time period, it mix well paranormal and history. Reading the blurb you can expect more sex, and instead you will find only some scenes, and not in so graphic detail. But you will be not disappointed: it is really an enjoyble tale. http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/87...

Depressing to the fullest. I hear there is a play in the works. I cannot imagine that. So, so sad.

So far, I like this book. This situation happens in real life. Not just to people who are in the same lifestyle level as Amber and Vicky but to others as well. But the thing I've been picking up from this story (currently reading this) is that you have to appreciate what you have. Finding the little blessings in your life. And trying not to focus in what you don't have because if you do, just like Vicky, the more you won't be satisfied with your life even if you do have great things coming. Bottomline, it's the contentment that would make you happy in life. And not a person or material things you thought you want to have and could make you happy once you do. So try to focus on your life and stop comparing yourself to others and what others have, because it will only lead to sprouting envy in your heart thus resulting to not being contented with your own life.

Really enjoyed reading this book because it was a page-turner not because the writing was particularly fantastic.

This is the sequel to "These is my words", and I loved it as much as I did the first book. I loved reading about the characters in more mature roles and continuing their stories. If you have read "These is my words", you will want to read this book.

that a story can make you cry for the characters - their igoranance and love unrealised

Although this is not technically a collection of short stories, the interweaving chapters are small masterpieces in themselves. An approachable narrative for those who still wonder about God in the midst of disaster. This is an enjoyable one day read with elements of suspense, love, and heartbreak.

A decent read if you're a dude who is kinda into yoga. Laugh out loud funny in some parts but very whiny and long-winded in others. Somehow it balances out to a fairly enjoyable read that isn't going to blow yr. mind but is worth the effort. OK, effort is the wrong word. The literary equivalent of an affordable slice of vegetarian pizza.
