Best book I read last year, and in probably the last several years. Loved the scope of the novel - historical aspects, yes, but also very contemporary.

A book which I had trouble putting down at night. Again, recommended by the book buddies Lauren and Melanie. Should be on everyone's must read list.

Probably 4.5. Really awesome end to the series!! I have always loved the themes of love and forgiveness (along with the consequences of forgiving or not forgiving) that have pervaded these books. I also like the idea that people make choices good and bad--and how these decisions affect them and others. Frustrating that (view spoiler). Sad about (view spoiler). Loved the romance in the story and, for the most part, the way things ended up. Some fantastic action and suspense in this book, along with the highly satisfying romance and growth of the characters. Loved it!!

I can't really say that I "read" this book since I only got to page 126. But I couldn't stand it any longer. It just didn't catch my interest. I had a hard time with the anxiety-ridden frenetic pace of Henry's life - it felt too much like my own! :)) When I found myself having time to sit down to read and yet not wanting to, I knew it was time to throw in the towel and start a new book.

This book was very dark and it was hard to like either the hero or the heroine.

Seeing it in context it was definitely a revolutionary play. I just did'nt really enjoy it. I put it in the same boat as "The Seagull." Give me a much shorter absurdist play any day.

I loved Hunger Games, but this book was even better. I really started to think more about the symbolism in the story as I read through. I was deeply involved in the lives of all the characters from begining to end.
