The biting sarcasm I used to find refreshing doesn't make up for Solanas' extreme transphobia (particularly in the form of her gross misconceptions about transwomen). I can get behind certain forms of "manhating" - as long as "men" are considered a chosen gender category, and not an essential or anatomical one.

Rabyn Rabunovich x_florianb791 — What is up with all the Austen/Pride and Prejudice spin offs? Did I miss something or did an army of them suddenly appear out of nowhere? So I decided to try one and after MUCH deliberation in the boolstore (to my friend Julia's dismay--I don't think that she will ever go to a bookstore with me again) I decided on this. I have to admit that it is pretty well done for what it is. Grange retained a bit of the Austen satire and it gives us just a taste of the "afterwords" (something all us hopeless romantics pine for after a good story is over). I think I will stick to just plain Austen from now on, but it was a fun adventure while it lasted.
