totally agree with other reviewers... I was amazed that a man could write so perfectly from the perspective of a teenage/young-adult girl.

Prelim review: As far as erotic novellas go, this one went farther to give substance to the characters and situation. It felt drawn out however. Not because the author didn't flow the narrative naturally or added undue tension. Between Clive's mental angst because he loves having sex with Kate, and is worried over the fact he's told everyone but her the truth of his life and Kate's determined 'woe as me I better enjoy this mind-numbing pleasure as long as possible' mental chastisements...it was a little too much. Kate alternately would be thrilled that Clive so obviously wants her, often and then ruin it by silently marveling that 'a man like him' would want a girl like her. Clive would ruin a perfectly good moment of 'damn she's the woman for me' with his remorseful I shouldn't have lied about being an escort. Full review to be posted

Hmmm, I think I have to say this was my least favorite one for some reason, but it was still awesome! I think it was a little boring, but there were still some awesome/funny parts.
I really liked this book. It was about 2 best friends Lia and Cassie. They are wintergirls frozen in fragile bodies, competitors in a deadly contest to see who can be the thinnest. But Cassie lossed her life and Lia is left behind, haunted by her friend's memory and feeling guilty for not being able to help save her. This book explores Lia's struggle, her painful path to recovery and her desperate attempts to hold on to the most important thing of all-hope.

I loved every second I spent reading Divergent. Its quick, fluid pacing, combined with edge of your seat plotting and heart rending characters, lent itself well to this dystopian debut. Divergent takes place in a Dystopian Chicago. It has long been discovered that the cause for the worlds’ strife and political unrest wasn’t due to race or religion but rather the personality traits of human beings. Thus a new government was formed and divided into factions that were created according to those virtues that leaders found to be the most prudent. Those of Dauntless value bravery and live a life dedicated to service through valor. Erudite values knowledge and are a faction devoted to studies. Amity values love and happiness, Candor – Honesty and Abnegation values selflessness above all else, thus making them best suited for leadership roles in government as they are uncorrupt able. At the eve of the choosing ceremony, the event in which young adults choose the faction in which they will live, we meet Tris Prior. Tris is a 16 year old girl that has grown up in Abnegation, but has found the factions ideals difficult to live by. She often feels out of step and ponders what it would be like to live a life afforded by other factions. However doing so would mean betraying her family. While her upcoming aptitude test could support what she has always known, that she doesn’t belong in Abnegation, she also fears what the results with say. But when her results come back inconclusive, Tris must make her choice without a guide. Tris’s choice and the consequences that follow kept me turning the pages into the wee hours of the night. I simply couldn’t find a stopping point! Tris was a character that I could root for and the world that Roth has created is intricate and entrancing. I can’t wait to see what happens in the sequel. Side note: I’m normally peeved to read books that are the start of a trilogy, but at nearly 500 pages, Roth gives plenty of meat to her story to keep readers satisfied.
Changed my life... Great perspective and story of action for a cause

I had a hard time rating this one. I think if I had only read this and not her first, Let's Not Go to the Dogs Tonight, I would have rated it higher. I love her writing and the stories, but a lot of it was a repeat of her first book. She expanded on some things, but I felt like I paid twice for the same thing.

At first, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to stay with this book, since it had been so many years since I read the last one in the series, but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. The whole setting and everything about the Bookworld of Thursday Next is so creative and fun, when you get the jokes! People who love reading should at least give these books a try!
