I didn't think this book could get any better yet surprisingly it exceeded my expectations and thensome. Tiger's Quest picks up from the ending of Tiger's Curse. Kelsey is broken hearted at leaving Ren behind but felt it was for the best or so she thinks. She finds that everything reminds her of him which isn't help her get over him. Ren's arranged for everything that Kelsey needs to attend college, house, car, and even martial arts training too. She slowly settles into a routine and eventually starts dating albeit relunctly. She starts to feel like things are going back to normal except for one thing Ren shows up in Oregon thereby turning Kelsey's life upside down again. It would appear smooth sailing right wrong on all counts. Ren wants Kelsey to still date other guys until she settles on the one. An unexpected bump in the road occurs during the winter term of college where strange men are asking about Kelsey. Ren and Kishan both try to protect Kelsey but Ren makes the ultimate sacrife saving both Kishan and Kelsey. Mr. Kadam, Kelsey, and Kishan all pour over the next set of prophecies regarding two tigers and the tasks that need to be performed. Will Ren be saved? Will Lokesh find Kelsey? What are the next tasks? Your answers await you in Tiger's Quest.

You don't have to love the stories, folklore, and superstitions of the "old country" as I do, thanks to by beloved Busha to thoroughly enjoy this novel that takes place in some unnamed Balkan country that has been ravaged by war. Bosnia, perhaps? Young doctor Natalia is grieving the death of her beloved grandfather & sets out to discover the secrets of his past based on the stories he has told her. The "deathless man"? The "tiger's wife"? Read and enjoy. My grandmother would love this one if she could ever read anything other than the "National Enquirer". Yes, that was how she learned to read English. God bless her.

A lady who had so much loss in her life and who tried to bear with it as best as she knew how, while trying to convince people she was not insane but just very emotional. There is nothing so sad as to see her own son dislike his own parents and want to hide his mother away for fear of embarassment to himself. Touching story of love, loss and redemption of oneself.
