Hung Lim 123sunny — I am hesitant to even call this a book. The only thing terrifying about a Dean Koontz book is the author himself. So why do I subject myself to this drivel? Because every few years it's good to remember just how bad writing can be. A baseline of wretchedness against which all other writing can be measured. Dean Koontz is the absolute zero of writing- there can be none worse. Nobody. None.

Rafiqa Ulfah illustra_phi — I know this is truly a really good book, and most people probably give it more stars, but I have to be honest and say it really just did not grab me like other books. I'm hoping Wuthering Heights will change my mind about Bronte. I must say she writes about class differences and how it impacts an individual and the very classist world we still live in - and she writes about it in a very timeless manner.

Rzy-shoes Tuh 2454972136a4f4 — 3.5 stars. A great, short M/M paranormal romance with excellent world building and two very sexy MC's. Thane is a soldier in the war against androids. When we meet him he is recovering from the massacre of his squadron, suffering from survivor guilt and feeling lost and alone. His superiors send him to a spa to recuperate and while he's there he spies Suresh, an elf, legendary and forbidding beings who sometimes aid humans in their war. But Suresh is in danger and Thane has to make a choice whether to help or do nothing. I really liked the world the author created and am left with a great curiosity and desire to know more. Putting together two distinct themes, the 'rise of the machines' and the 'noble fae assisting humans in their battles' is an unusual idea but one that works very well in this story. Thane and Suresh's passion is smoking hot. I'm impressed by this author's imagination and I'm looking forward to more M/M stories in the future (preferably full-length).

Estudio Filosofía y al momento de hacer una tesis sobre estética creo que ya tengo algo de información al respecto, "por este motivo y sólo por este" no recomiendo el libro; es decir no lo recomiendo si lo buscas con fines de investigación académicos. Sin embargo, es un excelente libro de refrencia para profundizar con otras investigaciones. Es una aproximación a "la belleza" con un lenguaje muy ameno, directo y simple que no complica su lectura. Se trata de un libro perfecto para mesita de café en la sala de casa, porque está lleno de láminas e imágenes y los textos son bastante cortos, por eso se trata del libro ideal para "ojear" y pasar el tiempo.
