This book is really about the difficulties of love. That sounds really cheesy, but so be it. The viewpoint switches back and forth between the wife - Clair, and the Time Traveler - Henry. Each section is dated and includes their ages. Since I am only 100 pages into to this 500 page book, we are still reliving their relationship before they were married. Clair is growing up from a girl of 6 to now 16. The tension building to their first sexual encounter, I think it's gonna be good.

I felt I was living on Blossom Street with the characters.

One of the best books I've ever read.

Perhaps reading about Mrs. Ali and her Pakastani family inspired me to read a book set in Saudi Arabia. I really liked this book. It is fast moving and very interesting. It is billed as a mystery, but the real story is the life of women in Saudi Arabia. The author was married to an Arab and spent 2 years living there, she draws on her experience in writing this book. I recommend reading this...but I would first read her first novel, Finding Nouf, which introduces the main characters.

I've spent the better part of two years trying to get through this book on and off, but I'm giving up at page 246 and after skipping ahead to the epilogue. It's so incredibly boring. Don't bother.

My FAVORITE book. Written well before Dan Brown ever considered Da Vinci or his code, Katherine Neville wrote this broad reaching story. You jump from France circa 1780 to Morocco circa 1970, never leaving behind the central themes of Chess, Charlemange, world history, and several different mysteries all to be solved by the end.

This book was slow to get going and there were several small things that annoyed me (like why the author had to include exactly what brand of product a person was using, what flavor of sandwich they were eating, and the exact time they did anything) but as the mystery started unfolding and the characters started coming together I found myself more and more drawn into the story. In the end I really ended up enjoying the book and can't wait to read more about Lisbeth.

I picked up the book because I like Meloy's short stories so much. I wasn't as taken by this book, though.

I only started it, it was very interesting but very... philosophy of language. There's a great story in it about galileo coming to the americas and discovering the unicorn. Upon writing back to his country he descries - We were quite mistaken about the unicorn, it is gray, large, and rather ugly. Not horselike at all. Turns out he had been introduced to the Rhino.

This book showed me how a "family" forms. A family can form through the bond of common interests or from living in the same house not necessarily from a blood connection. Jacquelyn Mitchard revealed to me that all is not lost when your blood family is not a part of your life.

İlişkiler, özellikle çocuk / yetişkin bağları hakkında güzel yazılmış, atmosferik bir kitap. Yalnızlık ve kayıp ve kurtuluşla ilgilidir. Sizi emer - görüntüler ve detaylar dikkat çekicidir. 24 saat içinde okudum.
