Sevgilimden Son Mektup - Jojo Moyes TrendKitaplar Kütüphanesi

Tarafından yazılmış kitap Tarafından: Dex Plus

Originally read April 2011. Retained rating, no previous review. Rating actually 3.5 Reyes, Lord of Pain is up for his HEA as soon as he can get over the guilt he's feeling for his actions in the previous installments. Danika's exhausted from the running and hiding she's had to do to stay away from the Lords. Now she's made a promise she's reluctant to keep because of her attraction to Reyes. Danika has become a stronger character as this read starts. She has more drive and purpose as she tries to find answers. Captured after saving her own life, Danika finds herself walking a tightrope for things she wants equally. This entry is my least favorite of series so far. Full disclosure neither Danika nor Sienna are favorites. I didn't connect with either woman when they were introduced. I'm still neutral about Danika but definitely connect with the Lords. I have yet to believe Reyes and Paris pining for these women. Though their import to Reyes and Paris was immediately felt, the women left me neutral. Decisions, decisions! Luckily there were distractions galore since William still wants his book (no pun intended), Anya is Anya and Cronus once again shows himself as god of the villain roster, though he did get a bit of competition in this outing. I liked the scenes with Hunters showing them to be quite manipulative to people in pain. Paris also had plenty of time to think of Sienna and share those thoughts with his growing fan-base. Insight to future reads as the characters and world are fleshed out is common for this series and can make the read overfull in places but not distractingly so for my taste. This isn't a bad read and may be better than I give it credit for being however, for me, connection with both leads is imperative. I'm definitely on board for the next installment.
