Atypical Studio atypicalstudio — This book was so good. It kind of reminded me of the Giver. Tally lives in a futuristic society where everyone turns "pretty" on their 16th birthday. When she meets Shay, Tally learns all new things about her city and surrounding cities. Now Tally's not sure if she wants to turn pretty or if she'll be allowed to. Throw in a romance and it's perfect!!

I have a book called Style Eyes that has the most amazing eye makeup in it. I love it....but of course it has been snatched by several. Currently Other Mother has it. But she did write me about it...and you. Here is what she found out! This weekend my niece Munchie and I were getting ready to take her graduation photos. She has made her invitation style and wants to add photos on the inside to show how she has grown through the years. She has picked her young and middle photos and has asked that soon we go take some "now" photos for her to add to the invitations. I am so proud of her and want to help her in any way I can, so this weekend we played with styles of eye makeup to see what she wanted to do. We were lucky enough to be able to borrow a great book from our friend Lynette @ Crazed Mind. Style Eyes by Taylor Chang-Babaian not only has beautiful photos of perfect eye makeup but a breakdown of how you can gets these looks for yourself. With the step by step instructions it was truly easy to accomplish model perfect makeup on Munchie. This book was so much fun and it even has a beauty school in the front of it to tell you how to properly care for your skin and eyes, how to fix fine lines and dark circles, even how to prevent eye infections. There is a lot of wonderful info on different types of concealers, how to shape your brows even how the way you put your eyeliner on can change the shape of your eyes. We had so much fun trying some of the different looks. We went for some of the more dramatic looks because they aren't something you could wear everyday where we live. What fun! Munchie picked out her look for the pictures and it was great because none of the looks took very long to do. If you just want to have some fun with your makeup or you have a daughter coming into the makeup age I would highly recommend this book. With all of the information on care and cleanup of the eye area and safety tips to prevent infections as well as all the different step by step instructions for eye looks this would be a great teaching aide.

Francesc Lara soyellara — Chadwick has a particularly Anglican talent for fair-mindedness and for writing good prose. This work of Church history is an interesting (and occasionally exciting) read - thorough and even-handed.

Evgeniia Kanatova jen_art — While this isn't my favorite book of the series, I did enjoy it and look forward to more in the series. For me, there was too much anger and too many misunderstandings in this book for it to be a favorite. I do see how the events in this book may be used to move the series forward. I hope in the future, we see more of Bones and Cat working together against the bad guys instead of at odds with each other.

Silvia Comesaña silvinha — A man loves and loves and has a daughter while suffering from Chrono-displacement, meaning he time travels whenever he’s in danger or too upset… or sometimes at random moments. He can’t control his trips, and his destination in space and time, be the time future or past, is always a mystery. Very much like Slaughterhouse Five, including lack of ability to alter the past he visits or revisits. He visits the love of his life throughout her life and they finally marry and have a daughter. The daughter suffers from the same condition, but enjoys her jaunts through time. Interesting and well written- it makes the most of the short cuts the sci-fi plot allow and still manages to make you care about the characters. Neat trick of writing. Nifty stuff. I wanted to write this one off as chic-lit fluff, but I couldn't do it. From a craftsman perspective - the writer in you will respect the way she built this.
