Ahmed Garhy ahmedgarhy — 4/16/09: The library wants this back today and I still have a few more interviews to go, unfortunately. My favorite one so far has undoubtedly been the one with Kathleen Dean Moore. Her language is unbelievably beautiful and her ideas all resonated with me. I'll be reading her work as soon as I can get my hands on it. I also enjoyed the George Draffan interview immensely, it's kind of cool to see where Jensen gets so many of the ideas he writes about in his other books. Still, compared to reading what another reviewer called "pure Jensen," this kind of falls flat. Nonetheless, I'll be finishing it just as soon as I can get it back from the library.

孟立 翟 _hai_engli — I need to come back to this to write a review. No time right now. Reading "Love and Respect" that should be a companion to this book. It talk about what is being communicated when you fail to speak your spouse's love language. To a woman, the man speaks directly to the wife's feeling of love. To a man, the wife is speaking directly to the husband's feeling of respect which insulates his feelings of love. For example, a husband would say that his wife love's him, but does not like (which means respect) him. A subtle but essential difference.

Kaitlyn Adair _aitlyn_dair — They teach me about the mythical gods and how humans don't love each other, as much as they say they do.

Bayne Peterson baynepeterson — The story (which is in essence the narrator's day-to-day life) is told from the point of view of a boy who has autism...but isn't gimmicky or PC in the way that some books of similar topics have been. Very, very interesting. Definitely recommended for those who work with children or those who have an interest in autism or similar conditions.
