I felt like it got bogged down in the middle and could have used some editing. I felt myself skimming, skimming, skimming and I love thick books rich with description. And of course, a cliffhanger at the end of a novel means a sequel is in the works.

Linh Pham kukulilo — This was an amazing look at life for Germans during Hitlers reign. I loved the writing and the characters. I may read this one again and I hardly ever read a book more than once

Gema Noach gemanoach — Though few books live up to the hype when they are as successful as this one, this was still worth reading.

Radu Afloarei radu304 — I don't remember this one as well as the other 3 in the series, but the idea of using the exploded diamond shards from Jupiter's implosion was REALLY fun. The concept that we could use these large diamonds and huge elevators to get to space stations and avoid having to go through earth's atmosphere was really cool. Anyway, I geeked out on this book and had a blast.

Alysia Miller alysia — I used to like short stories and I read this book when I was not really into short stories anymore. But this book is so good... I really like Lahiri's style as well as the stories.
