Sneh Bhavsar snehism — Did you miss your chance to meet up with Kurt Vonnegut, drink coffee and chat about life, writing and the state of the world? Yeah, me too. This book is the next best thing. I bought this the day I heard he died, and some of it felt a little spooky, like words from beyond the grave. I've always been a fan of his essays, but this is my favorite collection. Brief, bitter, humane and disarmingly poignant. I loved every bit of it.

Luis Sánchez elsanchez — This is a high-brow fantasy novel. Eddings has created a new world with its own complex history. I am not a fan of such fantasy because I often find trying to remember the history of a made up world to be really tedious. Trying to keep three thousand years of kings and drama straight was more than I wanted. I didn't even finish this novel. It cam highly recommended by one of my friends, but I couldn't get interested in any of the characters or the plot.
