Mohammed Almuaini redbey — Book #45 How does Christopher Moore come up with these ideas? 'Twas a good book and humourous too. It was also a little strange, and of all of his far out ideas in his books that I've read, this has to have been the most oddball, out there kind of story. Still, I loved the reason the Winged Whale Sings and it was one of my own hypothesis once all of the explanations started coming in. Since Christopher Moore is always a humourous read, in the April Reading Challenge, this will count towards #6, "Read a book that you heard or think would be 'funny'". I've now read books that fit 7 of the 10 criteria, plus a few extras. I'm not sure I'll finish before the end of the month, but 7 is a pretty good number I think.

Maria Korchagina _etrusha_aechkin — I happened to read this while on the plane to Los Angeles (business, unfortunately), but I did finish it up when I was on the beach in Santa Monica :-) I wouldn't recommend this as the type of thing you'd read to get you thinking about anything serious, but its a fun "summer" or beach read.

Danielle Feerick aniday — I was really hesitiant to pick this book after having a horrible time getting into Seduce me in Dreams, but I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was a fun, quick read.

Taylor Wichrowski taylorwichrowski — Okay, I have a little crush on Peter Wimsey, but it was reported that Dorothy Saers may have as well--so I'm in good company. This was the 1st Sayers I read, and one of her best. A clever puzzle, a real sense of urgency as Peter matches wits with the real murderer to clear the name of the woman he loves--but hasn't really met. He sees Harriet Vane sitting in the docket (is that what they call it?) and falls hard. And so begins one of the great loe stories in literature. Plus...Miss Climpson plays a major roll--Hooray!

Angela Don angeladon — Great story-telling! It was an easy, entertaining and enjoyable read. A bit cheesy at points, but very well-written - - especially in the way that the fairy tales run parallel to the story's unfolding mystery. Really enjoyed this book, and will definitely be looking to read more books from this author.
