Doppy Catur doppy — Well, I knew getting into the book that I would probably be a little upset by the main event in the beginning, but I tried not to let that get in the way of me reading the book. I love dogs, I even walk a few that aren't mine for spare money. I was pretty happy to discover that this really isn't a mystery about trying to find a dog's killer, but really the mystery of life as seen through the eyes of an autistic boy. I don't want to give anything away, as this is a beautiful story that should be discovered by yourself, but I really appreciated this book. I really felt the anxiety Christopher felt when he was out of his element. I actually liked all the little diagrams, and it seemed the more math puzzles there were, the more conflict he was feeling. It was a great way to illustrate his anxiety. This book made me appreciate the order he was able to find in chaos, and how he used this order to get through the main bit of the story (which is a challenging event for anyone).
